A great day to catch up with dive buddies, do some planning for the season with the dive boat captains, and of course pick up more gear!
Some FAQ's I am getting:

2) Yes, there is new gear, dive shops sell new gear to make room for new inventory etc.
3) Yes there is used gear, everything from "used once and never dove again" to well used and everything in between.
4) Yes- Haggle, politely. Some people have firm prices but many are looking to get rid of gear or upgrade.

[TD]Besides a great flea market, this year Ocean Wreck Divers will also have several speakers giving presentations at the market.

At 10 AM, Fred Barthes of North East Diving Equipment Group will give a 30 minute presentation on the history of diving-
"Diving - from Leonardo DaVinci to Pink Floyd!"

At 11 am, Captain Gene Peterson, owner of Atlantic Divers, veteran shipwreck explorer and expedition leader, will give a presentation of shipwrecks discovered and identified from North Carolina to Nova Scotia-
"Discoveries and Recoveries"

At 12 Noon, Dan Lieb, the president of New Jersey Historical Divers Association, scuba diver, avocational archaeologist and historian, will give a presentation of shipwreck mapping-
"Why Map Shipwrecks"
