Tom's Dive and Swim in Austin

Has anyone gone on one of Tom's Wednesday boat dives or the Friday night dives?

I'm thinking of going on one this week. It would be awesome to hear from some of you regarding your experiences.

Tom's does this type of dive get-together very well - do a boat dive, one of the best local Austin dive options.

Daniel...have you been on the Wed night boat dives?

Any details??

Are they one or two tank dives? Etc

It's just a get-together dive. They really want divers to mix and get a chance to find new buddies. And, diving at around 7:00pm in August usually makes for a one tank dive (unless you want a night dive too, don't forget a dive light.)

As to where you'll dive, that depends on where the boat is docked and who captains it. We use to go out of Volente and dive the middle of the lake...

My son and I are planning to go this Friday. Tom's is our favorite shop, but we haven't been on a dive with them yet. The folks at Tom's are great.
