I have been playing with this lens a little as an alternative to my 60mm macro and I think it has some definite benefits. One is that it is a little easier to do fish portraits of larger fish since there's a wider field of view. Another, which I hadn't thought of, is that it is much easier to follow a moving subject as you compose your shot. So far I have only taken it down behind a flat port, but I will by trying it behind a dome soon. Some photos are posted here: More Diving! | Les Fruits De Mer

I'd be interested to hear any other reviews of it.
