I just thought I'd say a Christmas thank you to Gilligan and others who've discussed manual white balance.

I got my first decent shots of blue trevally on today's charter. I had a couple on board (customers, not trevally) from last year so I took along the camera for fun. I've been playing with the manual white balance when I've had the chance to carry the camera since picking up the housing earlier this last month. It's pretty easy once you know the pattern. I could never get a picture of trevally before, always blue on blue.

I'm trying an attachment, hopefully it'll show.

Aloha,

Nice shot indeed. I need to learn to better utilize manual white balance.

Nice shot friscuba, manual white balance seems to have worked wonders for the shot :).

You nailed it...congrats!
