We're going to do a couple of "warm up" deep dives at Gilboa on Aug 6 to make sure we're ready for the Arabia. Anyone who wants to join us is welcome whether you're going on the trip or not.

How deep is the Arabia?

It's 110-120 to the dirt, I'm not sure how deep to the deck, I've never been on her but my husband has. Here's an article that has descriptions of some of the wrecks.

That's the only really deep one we're doing, the rest of the trip has dives in the 20-90 foot range. We're starting with shallower and easier wrecks and going a little deeper and more challenging each day.

Thanks for the info. Sure wish I could come along. High School soccer will have started by then and my daughter has several games that week. I hope you have an awesome trip. I am planning to get my first experience with wreck diving in the Great Lakes on 8/5-6. ElectricBear has graciously offered to introduce me to some of the easier wrecks out of Waukegan and Burnham.

Thank you, sorry you won't be available to join us. Have fun with ElectricBear!

I'll be arriving the 29th, and diving 30th, 31st, and 1st. Kathy (non-diver) will be with me.

My computer logs the Arabia at 105-110 over the 6 six dives that I have done on her. It is a square dive profile practically out of the tables. The deck is at 90 ft. or so. The line from the mooring block runs to the stbd railing and can be followed from a depth of 90 ft. or so.

Please don't silt it up too much for us :) . I will be diving it the weekend after you get done :) .

Thanks Brian! Since you were nice enough to provide that information I'll take my rototiller out of the dive bag, I was going to see if I could plant some corn beside her :D
