*Ahem* Will there be running water and a roof?

Yes, I will be one of the non-princesses in the group.

you mean princess, don't you

I will be. I require a jacuzzi tub, double sinks bathrooms and pillow-top mattresses. Not request... require.

what about renting a cabin or house?

leave the tutu at home man :D

This is another option for you guys Dawnlight-Overnight
Cheers

I LOVE IT :bounce4: with a min of 4 of us it is cheaper than the hotels we are looking at.

Man, I am up in Toby frequently- usually same day drive up, or I stay overnight in the off season, but I'd join you all just to stay on the Dawnlight! Or at least come over for a beverage.

Well I will not tell anyone here publically if it is still available because they might scoop it up from under us ;) (considering I have been out of the country and unable to "book it" yet). Just kidding.....when I get back into Canada for a couple days I will mail off a deposit.

You are more than welcome to join us. We have talked about getting together to dive and maybe this will be the time. The plan is to mix boat and shore dives over three days (PM, AM/PM, AM). I'll keep you in the loop.

Plan sounds good...lotsa diving.

first i have to tell you all STAY away from the bruce anchor it is terrible they fine you for every thing (wt suits in the room etc ) the owner is a nut , the trails end lodge or tobermory lodge are both good also owen sound motel is only an hour away

I have a question to all the people that travel to and stay in Tobermory. I am arranging for a number of SB members from the NY/NJ/PA area to come to visit in August and we want to stay a couple nights in Tobermory. Looking at advertised rates for accommodations, Toby gets quite expensive (competes with accommodations near YYZ which shocked me) through the summer. The divers want to stay close to Toby so there is no real commute.......I never stay in Toby as I drive to and from same day so I ask you, where are the less expensive places to stay in Toby? We are not princesses and need only the basics in a hotel/motel.

Hey guys - would offer up my place but I am 300 km away in Toronto :bonk:

I will be up there on a local LDS trip on the 19 - 22nd August (not sure where we are staying but could find out). All the divers rave about a pizza place in Tobermory called Della Rocca Pizza! Maybe I will see you guys there :grouphug:
