Hi everyone, last year I started spearfishing and I bought Mares Instinct GT 75. For this season I plan to mount a reel but I am not sure what reel fits this gun. Here is a side image of the handle. There is this big screw in the ellipsis area and I suppose that's the spot for the reel but since I am noob, I am not sure. Does anyone have an idea how the reel fits this kind of gun? Cheers

Not 100% sure, but a lot of Mare's reels are designed to mount directly to the front part of the trigger guard of their guns.
I am assuming that tab on the under side of the plastic guide rail is nothing. Some mfg put a rail there.
You could buy a reel with an adapter to mount to metal guns. This does mean two holes in the tube though.

Mares also sell an adaptor for their reels (if it doesn't nount directly on your Mares gun). I just purchaded a spyro87 reel with this special adapter to mount that reel onto my belt.
Its safer to have two reels if you go deep/hunt big fish (when a bungee/float is not an option).
