Hi everybody. I'm a new diver from Chattanooga. Certified last year and have a handful of dives. I'd like to meet some people to dive the local quarries.

I dive a few hours west of you in SW KY in Hopkinsville. If you ever find yourself there, look me up.

There is a new dive club forming in Chattanooga at this time, there has been 2 meetings in the last 4 weeks. They already have several dive trips planned and approx. 40 interested members.
I attended the 1st mtg but missed the 2nd, due to a dive trip in Cozumel, dang hate I missed the mtg.
From what I heard at the first mtg, you would have a hard time not finding someone to dive with.
I too am a new diver, 23 dives, and never dove quarries, YET! but it is in our plans for early Sept / late Aug

Yep, there are lots of us in the area. There is a new club in the formative stages, check out CDC Divers on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/428672407164580/
The weather has kept us from diving the river this year - too much water going through the spillways, but we typically dive it for several months during the summer. We also have a new dive shop opening soon, a family oriented shop that cares more about the diver than the diver's pocket book.
