liesure pro has a Titan lx for 264.50
My Question is How much should i be Paying for a Titan LX at LDS?
And does any one have a slightly used Titan LX They want to Part With and How Much?
I would prefer if i buy a used one that it was not purchased from Liesure pro,Why?
because my LDS will Not Work On It.

Its all about warranty and free parts when it is serviced. Online purchases are not recognized by AQ.

I think they could sell it at cost if they wanted to, its about profit margins.

Good luck,
O

This is what i get,Aqualung Will only let us take 10% off list

Then ask him to toss something else in that is under his control such as free air for a year. It will become clear if the issue is AQ price fixing or the LDS is just trying to maintain high profit margins.

They could sell at what they wanted....Damn, I dont understand some of the other shops!! They need to learn that its better to gain a customer for life vs $100

LeisurePro is NOT an authorized AquaLung dealer. See this link from the AquaLung website for details.

So Max, how much premium do you think the free parts for life (mostly O-rings and only valid if you PAY to have it serviced every year by an AUTHORIZED dealer) is worth?

"Why? because my LDS will Not Work On It."

Your LDS won't work on a piece of safety gear because you purchased it somewhere else? So he would rather you went diving with an unserviced piece of gear than provide service on something that you didn't purchase from him?

Imagine if you took your car to a dealership to get the breaks fixed and they refused to service it because you purchased the car somewhere else. I would think that if you got into an accident this would be grounds for a lawsuit.

That is total BS. Your LDS is putting his profits first before your safety. Find somebody else to spend your hard earned dollars with.
