Titan inlet fitting

I'm a bit confused.

I have an earlier non ACD Mikron and filter sits in recess and O ring in the next recess:

But in later Titan non ACD filter there are not two recesses on inlet fitting, only 1, filter sticks out the end and only way to use an o ring is to carefully balance on filter and carefully fit to body. Is this correct? Looks odd to me .

Can someone help me please, a bit loathe to dive this until I know for sure.

Don’t know, don’t do AL but many seem to have moved to just using a body o ring at the top of the threads rather than the face mounted one.

The kit does not come r we it's such an O ring, I guess my concern is the filter is Sri out so means that is in contact with body.

Got in contact with @axxel57 and spoke with my dealer, seems this is correct. Still looks weird to me, go figure. Not sure what problem the "re design" fixed other than to make it more finicky to assemble.

Anyone else with experience can jump in at anytime. I worry easily, more confirmation soothes my crazy 19 monkey brain.

I have post 2013 body and post 2013 non ACD inlet. The kit I'm using is current stock.

I do have a pre 2013 body, I'll compare. I've been told by reliable sources it's correct, guess I just want to see an official photo or official documentation on it.
