Tips on spear fishing? Central Fl. Crystal River possibly

Dive primarily cavern/cave/spring simply because of location (Leesburg Fl.), and lack of a boat. I recently purchased a spear-gun and would LOVE to go spear fishing, but of course have never done it. I live relatively close to crystal river so this will probably be where I go. But need some tips on charter services(or somebody who needs a dive buddy with gas money), and any advise you could give me!

Post this in the underwater hunting section and on www.spearboard.com The West Coast's spearfishing is pretty good.

Be careful. In FL it is illegal to spearfish in freshwater.
