One of the ATM's at the airport gives Lemps. The other US$. I'm fairly certain they warn you prior to dispensing.
Roatan, among other Caribbean destinations, has had a lot of ATMs being hacked. I would avoid them.
Plenty of good advice above in regards to CCV tipping, I do tip our Boat Captain and Dive Master equally. If you watch them, they have equal and different duties that make for the best dive experience I have ever had in the Caribbean.
It it has always amazed me when the occasional comment comes up here in regards to CCV tipping. The tip envelope appears on the bed with the Thursday departure paperwork (aka: eviction papers), and that is the last you'll hear from CCV on the subject. No pressure.
Many people also give individual tips to maids/wait staff. When tipping your dive staff individually, remember that not all of them work on Fridays or Saturdays.
Besides tipping our individual two dive guys, we also bring knives or pocket tools for the entire 12 man staff- WOOT.com is a great source for these. They're all "country boys", and they find good use for such things.
