Yeah not sure if you read my thread about DM/ instructor training but this is the shop that automatically lost my business for that and anything else.

It wasn't extreme or even a scolding I got just a "Why is he texting me asking me why one of my divers didn't know xyz.."

Seemed pretty unprofessional to me, but maybe it's not that big of a deal.

Is it common to be able to drop then off directly your self? If I knew that I would have much rather done it myself than wait on when it's convent for someone who's apparently extremely busy.

I hope he at least makes contact with me by the end of the week. Weathers still bad so I can't hit the ocean but I don't like being ignored and not updating me that it's taking longer than expected.

You can always do that but you will need somebody to do the VCI and fill the tank and service the valve. The hydro testing place won't do that for you.

Trust me I would have already but it's always closed. Opens by appointment.
Is this how they do business all year long or is it a "seasonal" thing where you are?

I'm not sure, I've lived here a year and a half and I don't think I've ever seen it open with normal hours but I can't say for sure.

That is terrible especially if they aren't responding to your emails and/or phone calls. I'd just get the tanks back and run away. This is a very strange unprofessional way of doing business. In my experience in the US, dive stores that play this type of nonsense are either going out of business even if they don't know it or acknowledge it or they are doing it as a hobby on the side and don't care much about being professionals. When you confront them, they would give you all excuses but never live up to their responsibilities.

Do your best to grab your tanks from them and run like hell away from these people.

Finally got a reply. They (may) be available to pick up next week. Definitely the last time I do anything there.
