the Philippines government and "few" NGO are doing a lot for promoting Philippines, to have a good start, they are over Europe on a dive promotion tour, one of the PPD is on it, will post it soon. for the Chinese Markets, their are 3 up coming giant Dive Shows soon:
1) the 5th Guangzhou International DIVE shows march 24 to 26 The 5th China (Guangzhou) International Water Supplies Show gzhwexpo@163.com (Guangdong province is almost as big as the Philippines, Shenzhen,Hainan,HongKong are part of it, Cantonese spoken)
2)Dive Equipment & Marketing Action Fair Taipei 2008 May 9 to 11 Welcome to Diving Equipment and Marketing Action Fair 2008 sales@demaasiapacific.com(putonghua used)
3)CDEX Shanghai Sept 19 to 21 2008 (my favarite, this one is super)putonghua used.
products in the Philippines suitable to join Dive Exhibit:
RESORTs, Dive tour Agencies or tour organizer, Dive Education (tech), Liveaboard
Dive Safari, or just visit it and go shopping shopping.
most China present technical divers and Tech Instructor learn their Skill in the Philippines, they also learn Rebreather diving here. no they have more rebreather grade divers, than we present have! PCSSD and D.O.T. will surely do the PROMOTION, now lets see what the private sector can do???
