Triple o ring sealed, twist on activation.
Will also run on 3x AAA, adaptor included and an 18650 (not included) but using theses batteries results in lower brightness and less run times.
It's about 3 months old, a few scratches but nothing too bad.
Is a great back up for low viz or day time use.
