tight wetsuit on the knees

hey guys..

i recently acquired a free 5mm wetsuit but its tight around the knees.. well i can bend them but it hurts after a bit.. any suggestions on what i can do?

Check you LDS, maybe they know somewhere you can get it altered.

First off, you don't want a suit that fits too tightly at the knees. Not only is that uncomfortable, but it could acctually be quite dangerous. You don't want anything that is going to restrict blood flow. I would suggest that you check with your LDS. You need to have an oval piece of material, superstretch 3mm, placed at the back of the knee. If you can't do this, cut it off for a shorty.
