Did it on the Shearwater some years ago. They pioneered the Tiger Beach liveaboard experience. The crew was outstanding and no one knows more about sharks than Jim does. At first many fought him, said it was unsafe... Actually I believe the Dolphin Dream was only offering cage dives once they started going there. Now they like all the rest have jumped on the bandwagon. In any event, the experience is amazing and unforgettable. And you will absolutely see tigers. The only word of warning I have is that you need to go there with the right mindset. Despite the posh pricing it is not a posh liveaboard experience. You are looking at boats with bunks, shared bathrooms etc. I think that is true for all the boats that go there.
