I hope this challenge isn't going to end any time soon. I've been out of the loop for quite a while but I'm going to try my best to post my progress every week. It finally got through my pea-brain that I wasn't doing a very good job on my own, so I joined WW a few weeks ago. I've had 3 WIs since I started and have lost 4.2 pounds. I was shocked every time it has showed a loss. :11: It was embarrassing to me to show a slight gain on my 2nd WI. But I think I'm getting the hang of it now. So, if it isn't too late, put me back on the roster.

Welcome back scubapup.
Nope, we're not ending the Challenge. People are still joining!

Holding the same weight. I did not gain or lose this past week and considering all that is going on in my life that is just fine.

Hope this week things will be a bit more settled, but I doubt it. Dad is not getting any radiation treatments this week, but is scheduled for another bronchoscopy to try and get a biopsy. His scans, showed there is some involvment in the lymph nodes in the chest, but none in his liver or bones. Once they get a biopsy of the cell type then the radiation and chemo will begin.

I have been trying to cook whatever he wants, because he cannot afford to lose weight. He needs to eat to maintain his weight right now, so once he really begins all the therapy he hopefully won't lose too much.

I just have to be careful not to gain with all of this food around. I am keeping busy around my home so that I won't eat.

Have a good week everyone. I will check back next weekend.

Hang in there, Cindy. Considering your life right now, you've had a huge success by maintaining. Successes aren't measured only on the scales
