Thresher Sharks in Indo

So I read in one of the posts that there was a Thresher sighted off Lombok. Has anyone seen any in Indo dive sites? Considering that the same waters are shared with PI and there are ideal deep water conditions for Threshers.

I saw one off the north of Sulewesi two years ago. It was quite beautiful.

when and where was that? Im heading to Bunaken/Lembeh/Bangka next May.

I saw one in Alor last week, on the beach though The fisherman who caught it said that he got it in the strait between Alor and Pura islands

I'm trying to remember - I'm pretty sure it was Bunakan, but it could have been Lembeh. It was July of '08 & the guide said they were very rare.

They're sometimes seen off Pulau Weh too.......
