Thresher shark @ Vets

Years ago, I was fishing a couple of miles offshore Catalina Harbor in a nine-foot whaler. It was early in the morning, the sea was flat, and I was alone. I heard a splash behind me and turned to see a long, black arm slowly vanish under the dark surface. WTF??? A few minutes later it happened again and I spotted the dorsal, realizing that I was seeing a threasher, a wonderful encounter that I will never forget. I'm green with envy over Phil's underwater sighting and sorry I wasn't at Vet's. Great catch on the video, low vis or not!
