Thread View Legend
There is a lot of useful information in views that display lists of threads. Understanding them can help with your "click or move-on" decision.
- Avatar of the member that started the thread
- Title Prefix flag, optional and the available prefixes vary by the forum
- Thread Title
- Number of replies in the thread
- Date of the latest Reply
- Avatar of member who posted the latest Reply
- Your Avatar if you have posted in this thread. Mouseover the small Avatar to see how many of your posts are in the thread.
- Name of member who started the thread
- Date the thread was started
- Number of members who have viewed the thread
- Name of member who posted the latest Reply
- Most threads are blank in the area because there are no unique settings and they are "Discussion" thread types. These Icons that indicate:
The Sticky "push-pin" icon can be set by ScubaBoard Staff. It "pins" the thread to the top of the list in a forum. Not all forums contain them and a few include multiple sticky threads.
The "Pad-Lock" icon indicates that this thread is not open for Replies.
You are "watching" this thread and will get alerts when someone posts in it. By default, the "Watch" setting is automatic when you post in the thread or intentionally clicked the Watch button.
This thread contains a Poll
This thread is Awaiting approval by ScubaBoard Staff. This is rarely seen.

This is an "Article thread", which is displayed in a wider format and may be up to 3x larger than all other thread types. See

This indicates a Suggestion "thread type", which allows members to vote up or down suggestions to improve ScubaBoard.
Use Report to correct broken links, typos, or make suggestions.
