Thread subscription?

I've never knowingly subscribed to a thread, yet periodically I have to clean out that part of my User CP that seems to accumulate them. I don't want to keep doing this housekeeping.

Is it some function of the software that gives you a subscribed thread if you keep reading it over time, or automatically subscribes you to the last thread you posted in?

How can I avoid collecting subscribed threads when I don't knowingly subscribe to them?

Just scroll down a bit and change the option.

I believe you also have to manually change your options for any previously subscribed threads or they will continue to be sent:

Not that I'm aware of. Mine never change.

Simply reading it will not subscribe you.

You need to manually create a subscription or post in the thread (if you have automatic subscriptions set up).
