+1 for Light & Motion. After doing the research...there is no competition. One touch white balance + auto/manual focus control pretty much blows anything that doesn't have it out of the water. Pricey? Yes. Best in class? Undoubtedly. You can get the travel size down pretty good with the removable handles that L&M's have...to the best of my knowledge, none of this class (Gates, L&M, Amphibico) have this feature except for the L&M. If you travel...it absolutely makes a difference.

I love my Stingray. Look for one of the older models (2009?) for cheaper and I promise you will not regret the decision.
