Those banana style inflatable kayaks are very dangerous. I would not let anyone I know go down moving water in one of them. They taco very easily where a regular raft would not. We had a call over a month ago where a women was trapped in one up against the bridge piling. Two in the boat both wearing pds but she got rolled under and could not get free. 15mins before swift water FD was able to get there and get her out, she didn't make it. I got there as they were bringing her out so we did not have to dive. Sad also that they had paddles but I guess felt they would not need them expecting to bounce off the concrete.
