I went with black and orange as well.

One item you might want to confirm. Each stage comes with a service kit for free, at least it did when I bought mine. Your first service is then free at 2 years, as long as you send the reg in WITH the free service kits they came with.

When I bought my full set it came with 3 service kits (1 1st and 2 2nds).
I suppose I’ll find out about the service kits when it hits my doorstep. If they do ship service kits with the stages, then I’ll have extras. That’s not a bad thing.

Too funny, I got my seconds in black and orange back in ‘17. Gotta say, though, every time I go on their site I think I might just need a blue second. I mean, I got my wife the pink that she wanted, so….

They sell color kits…

Ahh, but then the blue would be all nice and, well, new looking, while the rest is all banged up. (Not really too badly banged up. More just an excuse to buy a new second stage. I mean, why not?!?)

Second stages showed up Friday. Absolutely beautiful. I did send an email to customer service asking two things.

1 - the FAQ says service kit get shipped with serviceable items and it wasn’t included

2 - I’m looking for an owners/users manual. These second stages are different than the one I’m accustomed to. There are two controls on them; a knob and a lever. I’m looking for statements from the manufacturer of these controls are intended to be used.

I sent that email late Friday. Hopefully I’ll have an answer by Monday or Tuesday.

Having both are quite common. My AL Legends & Dive Rite XTs have both.

Knob is for cracking pressure & lever is Venturi assist.

Lever is to be pointed away from your mouth when not in use, turned toward your mouth when being used.

Knob is to adjust cracking pressure. Completely closed is stiffest (requires greatest pressure to crack & deliver air) and completely open is loosest (requires least pressure to crack & deliver gas).

I keep my backup 2nd stage lever pointed away & knob closed. That minimize free flow risk. My primary that I’m breathing, I have the lever pointed towards my mouth and the knob almost completely open.

Open/close knob standard? IE clockwise closes?

Screwed down is closed. Clockwise. Unscrewed is open. Counterclockwise. You will see the knob actually unscrew away from the regulator body when it opens. Test it on a tank pressurized and it becomes pretty obvious.
