Hey guys I'm looking for suggestions on an easy dive weekend. I was thinking Gainesville but willing to drive as far as daytona. I want to camp out to keep cost down. I have been to Gennie, Devils, and Blue Grotto. However My girlfriend has only been to Gennie, and Devils. So I think I might take her to Blue grotto, however I was looking for suggestions from the locals or frequent fliers.

How about trying the panhandle? If you're not cavern trained/certified yet, you should consider completing a class. Cavern dives will be a lot more fun. Blue Grotto is okay, but not great and definitely not worth the $40 entry fee. You can dive a lot of caverns in the panhandle for less, some of them for just the rental fee of a canoe. Again, if you're not cavern trained, consider that first. It's a great class and will open up a lot more sites to the 2 of you.
