This is why I make all my gear look as stroke as possible! :D

And to that - you have certainly succeeded...:rofl3:

There's an idea for the ScubaBoard store.... Stroke Gear labels/decals.

Another +1

Looks like those Moderator Math classes are really paying off CD :rofl3:

And I agree that this guy should have his name and face posted. Especially if he is a cave diver. It is a small community overall (from what I can gather from the outside) and it is likely that people he knows would see it. He would certainly think twice next time......

It's obvious to most that I aspire to be just like you and Cave Diver! :D

As for pictures and names, I prefer to let the authorities take care of such issues. That's just me as I keep most of my gear covered. Out of sight is out of mind.

Greetings fellow divers I am wondering just what action was taken for the one who BORROWED, AKA STOLE your friends tank? I am afraid if this was mine or my dive buddies I would have shown him the markings on the bottom of the tank. I like to place marks on several areas of my equipment that are not easily detected for instances like these. The only times we have had issues with mistaken ownership was with large groups using community dressing tables. I take my gear very serous and let buddies borrow from time to time but take serious offense at when it walks away with a stranger. I am usually the one who watches everyones gear and have stopped several from clearing the area with "borrowed" gear. One fellow was very sure that it was his and I asked him to put it back on the table he got really upset. I just mentioned that I would help him look for his item but that it was probably with his buddy. He relented and I assured him I would be waiting for him to return. He never did, so I went looking for him, guess his buddy was helping him out or so he said. A tank came up missing that week end as well, sticky fingers or accidental borrowing perhaps.
I hope and pray for grace before I would show my identification mark on my bottle to the perp. I am very glad your friend got his tank back and I hope the offender was dealt with!
CamG Keep diving....keep training....keep learning!

If this story pans out, imagine diving with this loser. You can't trust that.

I'm weird. I have something called a job, and do something called saving money.
