I heard that an o2 bottle was stolen at Peacock recently. Apparently, the thief sat in the store while the person who'd had it stolen talked with the owner and all the people in the store describing it to see if they'd seen it, but was ratted out by a woman with him. Even then, he was reluctant to reveal that he actually did have it stuffed under his cave diving gear.

Ridiculous. So, this is a reminder that there are cave diving scum out there. And, a reminder not to leave your stuff overnight at/near the steps at Peacock, in or out of the water. Lastly, a reminder that if you really do want to return something to its rightful owner, telling them that you "don't have time to talk about it right now" isn't a very good strategy.

Did he have, like, an explaination (other than I am a POS)?

You should post their name and a pic if you have it.

Ditto.... people shouldn't do or say anything they wouldn't mind being plastered on the front page of the New York Times...
