Thick Wetsuit and Boots: How should they go together?

When using a drysuit my boot goes over the suit. There is one option otherwise your boot goes inside the drysuit, nono. I think do what works. I would also think having a good seal on the ankle that keeps water out is a good thing. For a 3/2mm suit no big deal. For a 7mm I think a good seal is a good thing. Then again, I dive dry....
 
Reading the thread, thinking about it, I realized I always wear my boot outside my 7mm john. I guess why I never realized it is due to the fact that it all fits well, and I have never had my feet be the first to get cold (generally 8C - 9C is as cold as I go). I guess I'll try them inside though, see how that feels.
