Well after last years bonanza of Whale sharks off the East Coast of the UAE and Musandam (the water was like whale shark soup, one trip we saw 4 individuals and every weekend there were reports of sightings for about 3-4 months solid) they have returned.
Been a number of reports of sightings the last few weeks from various dive groups, not sure what has brought the sudden influx in over the last few years. Hopefully will be a good spring/summer - so for those who fancy a good chance of spotting this somewhat (usually) elusive beast - your best bet might be a little trip to Dibba or Fujairah.
