The H2Odyssey neoprene socks do work very well with wetsuit boots.
They come with a velcro "fin-leash" sewn-in because they are designed for body-boarders. Cut the velcro off and they are perfect for diving.
You'll find them in all Surf stores, but rarely in Dive stores.
The come in 5 sizes, from XS to XL, and it's important that they fit correctly.
Too tight? Cold feet due to compression.
Too big? Uncomfortable folds of neoprene inside your boots.
Ordering online is great, but if you have a local surf shop, you can try them on to confirm fit.
O'Neill and other surf wetsuit manufacturers also make neoprene socks.
If possible, avoid buying neoprene socks that have a center seam on the top of the foot. With pressure from your fins, this seam may abrade your foot...ouch!! Been there. Scars finally healed.
I've heard from a couple of drysuit divers that use them as socks inside their drysuits. They don't compress, and will provide warmth even if wet.
There's nothing like good wet socks.
