Gads, the things you run across in here... Okay, my latest bug is that I heard that some don't like to use expensive poly O rings on the Thermopro valves with the removable DIN-to-yoke converter as they said the rings don't last as long on these units, and therefore they can't justify the cost of the expensive stuff. I am planning on using Viton 90A rings anyway, but was just wondering what others thought about this. Hmmm?

I use viton o-rings on my convertible valve, since the place I get the o-rings from has them in stock. I don't see an issue with using viton. I also have a handful of the poly o-rings, but I don't use them that often.
