Thermalution Wireless Controller stuck

Hi.
I have a new Thermalution Vest, which is working great, however after it's second use, the Wireless Controller on/off switch is stuck. I looked on the Thermalution web page and they suggest to soak it in water & try to move it from there, but it hardly moves.

Has anyone else had the same problem and can suggest a fix?

Soak it with a little 50/50 vinegar water. Be careful to soak it after every use and work the switch while submerged.
