Have you guys seen the 2007 Atmos LX on the Aeris website? Hybrid air cell, integrated weights that lock mechanically, two largish zippered cargo pockets, scads of D-rings, and in a respectable color scheme. This could be the ultimate recreational BC. At a little over 9 lbs. it's kind of heavy though. Thoughts?

Doesn't do it for me.

The ScubaPro KnightHawk looks better for about the same price.

Just my opinion, of course.

9 pounds is really heavy for air travel. Even my husband's SeaQuest Pro QD+ doesn't weigh that much, and it's a big BC. Bottom line for me, if it fits well and you like it, go for it!! :D

The only thing that turns me off is the weight. 9 llbs sounds a little heavy.

Dang! You guys (and gals) are a tough crowd. I test dove the previous model, the Atmos XT, and really liked it. I guess I'll have to see how it fits, in and out of the water. Thanks for the reality check.

The ultimate recreational BC? Not for me. I use a Seaquest Malibu for air travel. Light and easy to pack.
