Hey all,
Just in case you are looking for one of the friendliest boats in Florida, look no further than the Loggerhead out of Boynton Beach. It has gotten a lot busier in the years that I first dove with them, but they haven't lost the "touch". In fact, I was more than a little concerned about the slew of divers on board, but they handled it not only professionally, but with flair. Kudos to Capt Jim and Capt John... we will be going back soonly!!! You can visit them at http://www.loggerheadcharters.com/ .
First dive was a reef drift dive. Small green potted moray and a hawksbill turtle. Lots of a reddish brown algae all over... down to 59 ft for 28 minutes.
Second dive was on the "Tumbled Rocks" and was nothing short of phenomenal. The most fish that I have ever seen on a reef (including Carribbean sites) it was truly breathtaking. Max depth 67 ft for 43 minutes.
