Steve,
Kinda glad you didn't talk me in to driving all the way down there LOL. Hey I am game for the next trip though! Just drop me an email!

I was at the shop this afternoon and told Kim I was taking the boat out on Saturday, 03 July, weather permitting.

As long as I don't have a Small Craft Advisory for the lower Chesapeake Bay, I can find a spot at one of the islands out of the wind.

If we have enough divers, it will be a dive trip. If there aren't enough divers, it will be a fishing trip. My freezer could stand some sea bass.

Damn, Damn and Damn! July 3rd is out for me. But the 11th or 17/18 is possible. I still want to dive the wreck known as the Lear :)

I've been on her a couple of times and met the guy, Chuck Lear, that it was later named after.

I intend to keep going out, on my own dime if necessary, so getting a crack at these wrecks won't be too hard.

Unlike many of the wrecks in this area, we can't fish and dive the Lear from the same boat at the same time due to sharks. Since I'm not a sharker, I don't fish it.

I'll drop you a line when I have a day clear and we'll see what we can do. I got the impression from Kim that the trips went to the highest bidder as the last trip I tried to go on was a complete fiasco regarding organisation!
Take care!

They have been going through the ownership transition and several things have suffered a bit.

My talk with Tim, the new owner, gave me the impression that he wants to go at it with some vigor. Since I work cheap, I expect to be ridden hard for a little while.
