I think readers are taking these numbers and comparison in a very wrong way. That I completely agree with you on.

It is safety what concerns people.
And it is very important to show that no matter how tight is any safety standards, accidents will happen.
That has been the case since the beginning and till the end of days.
What really matters is NOT that is Splash is the greatest or safest boat ever built!
But the fact that on Splash we are really and truly prepared to handle whatever happens with a grit. Furthermore, we do all what we can to avoid whatever near-misses that could possibly happens.
I am sharing this openly, because over the past few years, since I bought it, we have been keeping very clean records. That is worth sharing.

No, but I will share below few links to some shared folders with media from the boat and under the sea.

Also, following are our social media links on different platforms

Your food certainly looks appetizing!

Your boat is endorsed by Ahmed Gabr! 👍

Yes Dan. Ahmed is a close friend and whenever he is in Hurghada, he only dives on Splash.
In two days from now, me, my wife Menna, and Ahmed Gabr will be all going together to Moscow Dive Show in Russia. We always market for Trimix courses together.
In pictures you will see us having fun together :)

@JustSurfaceInterval just like any other "average" daily dive boat.

Good luck & have a safe flight to Moscow!

As I mentioned, We have our own speed boat. In case of emergency, that speed boat will be a much better than a life raft, and faster too. Also, if Splash caught fire, or hit a reef barrier, or whatever disaster could happen, guess what, as a daily boat, we will be surrounded by at least 3 more boats (unlike liveaboard). Not to mention that we usually are much closer to shore than liveaboard.
Same with Sea Story. Yet, it took 34 hours for those survivors that got trapped in the boat. How do you explain that?

Other boats tried to help, but the Egyptian Navy prevented them from helping until one of the DM’s uncle begged them to do it by himself because he’s also a diver & wanted to save his own nephew. The Egyptian Navy didn’t even have their own divers to rescue the survivors even after the survivors open the window crying for help. Had there were no DM trapped in there, no uncle diver desperately trying to rescue his nephew, they would probably just watch the boat slowly sink to the abyss with live survivors.

I went there and my wife in person. We were not allowed/able to reach the boat safely in such a weather.
In my opinion, the Navy forces were better equipped for such missions by default. Why they didn't react faster? I honestly don't know and it is not my battle to fight trying to explain something that only the Navy can answer.
And just to get your records straight, the diver you are talking about is my friend as well, and we all know the boat floor plan very well since we used to take our guests there for many liveaboard trips (since we offer only daily trips on our boat SPLASH, and we need to rent liveaboard boats for weekly trips)
That is the reason why he was allowed to get in, plus the fact that his nephew was on that last trip.

So... In reality he was asked to go in because he knew it very well. All remaining survivors trapped inside were rescued that day all together.

There is a lot Navy could have done a bit faster. Why they were behind, I don't know.

By all means, our rescue service contract with a private organization, not a government organization. The company called SOS Rescue.

Also, please remember, Sea Story incident took place almost 100 KM away from the shore in a very far spot south of the costal line.

You are very welcome.
Sure... How many days and for how many guests? What dates?
Family with young kids needs special accommodations like waterparks? Couples? Bunch of guys?

Let me know, and I am sure that I can help you with something.

You can reach for me directly on my cell phone if needed

Do you know for a fact that none of the 7 missing were not alive or dead on the Sea Story when it finally sank on November 28? Do you know if anyone went back into the boat to search after your DM friend saved his nephew and 4 others and recovered 4 dead on November 26?

Thanks. The follow up, particularly from Egyptian investigators, has been lacking.

Hi Jake,
With pleasure indeed.
Please could you share with me some information to better help you with quotation:
1- Do you have your own equipment? Or you need us to provide equipment?
2- Do you need transfer from Airport to Hotel? Then, do you need daily transfer from hotel to boat and back? (If yes, please share the hotel information and location)
3- If you didn't book your hotel yet, do you like us to help you with booking? (most guests just arrange their own)
4- Divers levels (for you and son)

Lastly, which has nothing to do with quotation or diving, but more or less from logistics point of view, does any of you has food or any kind of allergies? Or, do you have any special dietary needs?

I will be looking forward to hearing back from you. Also, if you like and if it is easier for you, I could be reached directly on my cell phone via whatsapp @ +201033886549

I went in with my wife. And there were 2 other professional divers went in as well 2 days after DM (his name is Khattab by the way) helped the navy for the search and recovery of his nephew and others. However, we could not go diving. Current was very string and the wreckage was very unstable. It was a huge risk that could result in bigger losses. We have lost friends too in this tragedy. The main dive guide on board. He was a close friend. The chef, he has a family and many kids were looking forward to see him again, and they will never see him again. The salon guy, and this is the truly heart breaking, he was one of the survivors of the previous "Sea Legend" accident. He was terrified, and didn't want to go to sea ever again after the accident. Ali Aref, put him at customer service in one of the diving equipment stores. A year later almost, the salon man asked Ali to get back to the sea. Money is a bit better. He lost his life in that first trip returning back to the sea.

Trust me when I say, this tragedy has impacted all of us as well as guests families as equal. We all had our share of grief.
