I hope so Dave! It is too bad that Calderon is no longer the Mexican President. Not sure the current one even visits or dives. This has been talked about for awhile.If built it will encroach on the view and access to:

The Current Governor's house
a new house of the Joaquine family (As in Don Nassim)
a house of the Becerra family( Casa Mexicana, Suites Bahia. Pepe's Grill. Palmera's etc)
as plus: Villa Aldora will become the best Gentlemen's Club in Cozumel

I just emailed the people who own the condo we always rent about this issue. Cantamar is almost right next to Aldora and this disastrous project will wreck our view and screw up the peace and quiet we've grown to love. We dive with Aldora 3 times a year and couldn't be more dismayed about this proposal.
