Let me ask my brother if he wants to do this. I'm down for going again, this time purely for the photography.

the only problem is that at each location you're only alloted a certain time. 15 mins at one spot, 20 mins at another, 10 mins at this, etc....

I guess we can't opt to have a personal PPD only tour?

Ok i think this is the most recent list. Barring disasters we're in, I guess Lilja doesn't count as even a full kid...either way she coming too

We will definitely only be doing the day trip though, no overnight. Too scared at the thought of Pao and his horror stories! Would be interested in some kind of dinner in the evening though if folks are going back to the city.

Hints on where to stay to be close to the meeting point at 7am would be appreciated. oh and the personalised tour sounds like the deal...

Philippines Hotels Resorts, Philippines Hotels Reservation - Asia Travel for a list of places to stay (Manila). Traders Hotel is also a good choice, walking distance to the ferry (right across Roxas Blvd)

best and closest place to stay would be traders hotel... across from the CCP, that's a 5-minute walk to the terminal...

for cheaper yet further away i'd reco the malate area... should be some inexpensive yet decent pensions or inns in the area... maybe 10-15 minutes by cab...

@tour group: matt raised an interesting point: how many are staying overnight?
