the old dive stop in new melle

I was driving by today and saw a for sale sign on the old quarry property. If anyone has an extra $590,000.00 laying around they could buy it and reopen a local dive spot. Bredina springs is cutting back and oronogo is closed. we are running out of local places to dive. If anyone knows of others I am interested.

I was at Beaver lake yesterday and meet a faimly from Mo who told me they were five hrs from any sort of real diving and would like spots to open but would drive what ever it took just to dive!
I also saw a group from deep into Ka just to hit some good water.

But man thats a lot of money for the property! But it does look like alot of these spots need new blood to keep them going. I wounder if Oronogo will come up for sale?

Doubt Oronogo will be for sale. The owners plan to continue to live on the property and the quarry isn't worth anything to anybody for diving since the EPA is what closed them down.
