Glad to hear that the DFG moved on this and removed the net.

Kurt is waiting to hear from them on the amount of life lost on the net.
 
Kurt got some great news today.
"When I got home there was a message on my machine from Martin Maytorena from the DFG. he's the guy that I was in contact with from the beginning. He said they had divers in the water early yesterday and found the net. They found a marker on it with the ID of the vessel. They called the vessel and by 8pm yesterday all sections of the net were removed by that boat. I am still asking for a body count, but don't expect to get much on that due to the fisherman not wanting bad puclicity. I am also asking about the legality of it.

He also said to thank everyone for their assistance in this! Thanks Phil and Ross, you guys did a WONDERFUL service to the animals!!
