The Texas Gulf Coast Council of Dive Clubs (TGCC) is seeking your support for TrashFest 2008. TrashFest is a major event bringing together divers from across Texas and beyond to improve the quality of the Comal River in New Braunfels, Texas. The Comal River feeds into the Guadalupe River, which feeds into the Gulf of Mexico, so by keeping the upstream waters clean, we have a positive impact not only the river itself and the surrounding community, but also all of the aquatic life downstream.

TrashFest is a 100% volunteer and sponsor-driven effort. Businesses can help in two ways: through sponsorship and through team participation.

By supporting TrashFest through sponsorship, you will make a difference in the environment while gaining valuable exposure for your business. This year, we expect to attract approximately 400 divers along with their friends and family that will attend the awards BBQ. In the past, businesses have donated much needed funding to support TrashFest activities, as well as dive trips, dive equipment, and gift certificates for door prizes.
