Dave4868 and I took advantage of ok conditions to dive Nubble Light this AM as our a last dive of the year. We weren't the only one diving. There was one other diver going in as I arrived.
It was high tide, no wind and dead calm seas when I arrived. It was cloudy and air temp 37 degrees. As suited up, the winds picked up a bit from the south. Was pleased to see from the surface the vis looked ok. We entered at 10:40
The water temp was 37 degrees at depth (67 fsw), 39 degrees at the surface. We dove to the other side of island and back. On way back, tried to find the resident Northern Red Anemone to feed. The vis was about 10-15. I'll take it. It was a good dive with with 1 hour bottom time for the two of us.
Saw a sea raven and a huge bug under the overhang by the plaque.
As surfaced, another diver was suiting up. The winds picked up a bit more and by the time we left, it started flurrying and then turning to snow.
We wrapped up with good burger at Ruby's before heading back.
Glad got out and dive with another fellow diver from the board.
