I don't see how that is going to protect them. The only thing I can see happening is that it might draw people to know where they are and kill them for sport.
It's like telling a hunter "yup, there's a big 5 point buck over there in that brush...but do not shoot it please"
But, some good may come out of it. I'd be interested in seeing that documentury.
