Hi, I always dive with the Aqualung Mikron because it's light and compact, whereas most other regulators feel too heavy and end up straining my jaw. However, I don’t find the Mikron to be the most comfortable when it comes to breathing. Do you have any recommendations for a regulator of a similar size that offers better breathing comfort?

I bought my daughter the Apeks XL4 Ocea when she got certified. I don't have a ton of experience with too many different regs, but I dove it to try it out and thought it breathed quite well. Definitely fits the light and compact criteria. I'm sure others with more experience will have some better input.

Look into the Oceanic Zeo/FDXi combo. Very much fits the bill.
