I vote for the DUI FLX 50/50, because thats the one I have.

It has a trilam top and crushed neoprene lower half. the top dries fast and the bottom doesnt.

I chose this model ,because I wreck dive and I prefered the tought lower half....

try to get him down to about one grand,,,,,,,tell him youll come back and buy some sunscreen, to make up the difference, hahaha :bounce:

Time to pick some brains again and if you people would hold still, IT WOULDN’T HURT SO MUCH.
OW.... OW!!! Dangit - OUCH!!!
Fishy8411:
1) Has to be a dry suit that I can don and doff, without aid.
Mine's a shoulder zip - took some practice, but I can don/doff without assistance
2) Keep me warm in Lake Huron, from May to November.
It's the undies, not the suit that keeps you warm
3) Has to be a dry suit I can afford.
That's for you to decide
4) Would like it to be in warranty, don’t know if this is an option with a used suit.
Doubt it with a used suit, unless it's from a shop that offers a warranty on it
5) I do not plan on any type of entry work, neither wreck or cave. I’m a wee bit claustrophobic.
Probably a good call, since you're a wee bit claustrophobic
6) Has to make me a chick magnet, whenever my wife is not there.
Can't help you with that one, chicks do nothing for me ;)
7) Everything else, I forgot.
Yeah, I forget things, too

....Another posibility is if you are limber enough to zip a back zipper! I can do this with my suit, but since I'm always with a buddy why bother? Anyway it could open the door to more good suits and price ranges.

I wasn't that limber when I was 10!

Good point about the buddy. I'm still trying to figure out how to get mine to carry my tanks for me and wouldn't want to disrupt the training process by adding a new task, however.

To paraphrase Reefraff "I wasn't that limber when I was 2"

This is "The evil return of the self-donning dry suit question". In the original "self-donning thread", I exposed (eek, he's exposed, you're under arrest) my hangups when it comes to confining gear. I HAVE TO be able to don and doff gear without aid. Won't turn down aid, but should not require it.

Tom

And yes I'm not entirely sane, or rather I'm not completely insane. Who wants me as a dive buddy?
