This topic is already being discussed in this thread, 'There's a Bill in Congress to Ban Shark Feeding Dives.'

On consideration of the content discussed so far, Section 3 sounds like a premature unnecessary infringement of liberty without an adequate established basis in the evidence. The only really alarming anecdote was of an oceanic white tip overseas, not a species I've heard of being routinely fed out of Florida.

If we start outlawing everything with a theoretical element of risk that some people think sounds like a dumb idea, scuba diving will be one of the things to go.

Nothing wrong with feeding them a few jet ski riders every now and then to condition them into attacking these vehicles :wink:
