A very dilute solution of pinesol or lysol works for me - it also has the advantage of reducing the neoprene smell on the suit.

Drying it inside-out afterwards also helps.

Vinegar in the soak does the trick. Even works on skunk pee, so a little thing like a smelly wetsuit doesn't stand a chance. About a pint to a tub, more won't hurt.
Keep the suit out of direct sunlight while drying, UV has a bad habit of killing nylon.

I run my wetsuit through my washing machine on the rinse cycle then I store it inside out on a hanger.

Lemon juice also works. Just let the suit soak in lemon juice/water on soak in the washing machine overnite.

After every dive i soak my wetsuit in the laundry tub using a little no bleach mountain spring tide "liquid". Then i usually use the garden hose on it and let it dry. Works everytime for me.

Also i have a smooth skin interior wetsuit in which the urine roles right off compared to a nylon interior wetsuit that sorta stays if you get my drift. lol

I have a temporary solution that you can use when the significant other won't even let you through the door with the thing... Febreeze the hell out of it.

Forget that expensive stuff. Go out and buy some Lysterine mouthwash-whatever flavor you prefer (I use cool mint). Dump some in a laundry tub w/ the wetsuit and some water and let it soak for a short period. Then hang it up and let it dry.

It will come out smelling GREAT and the Lysterine will have done it's job on the nasty stuff.

My daughter knows where to find her mouthwash when it's missing from her vanity....

than cure.

The sooner the suit (and gloves, booties etc.) are dry the less chance of the smellies growing.

Even diving in some awful muck I never had a smelly suit unless I was unable to dry it and it stayed wet overnight.

Using a fan to move the air around will speed the drying.

Dont lend your wetsuit to skunks!

I didnt even know that skunks could dive anyhow.
