I am a 78 year "young" diver with a NAUI Retired Instructor certification and am also SSI Nitrox certified. My diving is now done in the Carribean and for many years it has been from a "live-aboard" (Aggressor Fleet &/or Peter Hughes). After accumulating 5-6000 slides, I finally sold all of my camera gear and now "go down" to see, enjoy, and "spot" for my dive buddies. My first "live-aboard" was the MV Tropic Bird in the BVI back in the late 70s & early 80s.

Sorry, but I took that name first! Anyhow glad to have another "mature" diver sign in. Welcome aboard and I hope you find as much good info here as I have. After 45---make that 47-- years of diving I'm still learning. :yelclap:

No experience needed and it feels great!

Howdy!

And welcome to SB - the biggest, the best, the fastest growing, and :D the friendliest!
If you'll simply click ScubaBoard.com above, you'll be taken to our long list of forums, a wealth of information and resources. My favorite is at the bottom: Singles Dive Club.

It would help in future diving discussions if you'd complete your Profile with location - and seperately - your Dive Info. You can use the Quick Links above to reach those easily. You can even qualify for the Inst2Inst forum, where the good parties are, I believe?

PM me if I can help you learn your way around; that is - click my username to the upper left, then follow the prompts to send me a "Personal Message." :thumb:

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or respond to in this forum.
