I will second Cody comment... one year it is one of the best...clear water, temp still in the low
60* at depth, next year yuck but still good enough. Keep us posted.
 
If we do come out I'll probably be looking for a dive buddy! The location is flexible... It could be anywhere from San Diego to Santa Barbara.
 
Probably 80 degrees at San Miguel and 85 degrees at Anacapa. Water temperature usually comes in around 72 degrees at depth--give or take. The halibut seem more abundant (so thick you can't see the bottom) that time of year too as well as monster lobster that appear out of no where that particular day to mate and seeminly challenge divers to catch them out in the open during daylight hours.
 
OK,,,,,,,perhaps "a little" overstated. But I do love that time of the year and find the water conditions flatter, clearer, and calmer. The water is getting colder, but the viz is usually awesome.
